Assignment 0: Making, Not Taking

In class we have discussed some basic ideas about how to make better photographs, as opposed to merely taking photographs. Play with your camera. Get comfortable with it. Then visualize the images you want and make them....

Due Dates, Submission Procedure, & Such

The assignment forms record results by logging your submissions on a server. Server entries have been created using your UK account name (not email address -- and capitalization matters) and a password computed from your student ID number by the formula ((ID/10000)+ID)%10000, padded to 4 digits with leading zeros.

The plan is to present and critique photos in class starting Thursday, September 7, 2017 -- although we'll probably continue doing that for parts of at least a couple of class periods. Try to submit two JPEG images that you made using your PowerShot camera here in the form of a .tar or .tgz file. (For this assignment only, you can instead just submit the JPEG files one at a time -- normally, only the last submission before the deadline would be counted.)
